Spanning three different labels, multiple formats of different tracks this final collection of 1983 is indeed the ultimate finale. Due to the incredibly prolific nature of Brian Grainger/Coppice Halifax it is sometimes difficult to sift through the releases to find the best gems. People, this is one of them. Unpretentious, so soothingly quiet and minimal, this drone-like release lures you into a sonic dream state. Fans of Gas or The Sight Below will not be disappointed. Not to say this sounds very much like them, but the tonality and overall aura is similar. How can so little say so much? The answer lies somewhere between the soft guitar-like strums, a muted kick pulse or ethereal pads. Best part is this is available in the longest form as a digital download so it won't break the bank or disappear overnight. 1983 - Expanded Reissue is essential!
