Now out of print it seems! Anyone who wants one should grab one pretty soon!
Coiwield
Any idea yet on cataloging individual releases from the box set. I was under the impression they were going to be new pressings, seperate from the box set, but it seems not.Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Jozrone
I just bought the First LP aka Space Odyssey) from Rise in Bristol, and had no luck finding the release on the discogs site, but it turns out it's from this box set! So it seems they're splitting the sets to sell the LP's individually.
Manona
I bought the box set, and I can't bring myself to open it, as it looks so beautiful, I'm a sado. So I have been buying the Albums separately on ebay and other sites. Does anyone know if there are plans to put the Lp's on Discogs as separate items, to catalogue them?
heart of sky
Amazing quality!! I really didn't expect the set would be of this premium quality. I can't wait for the next release now. I hope we see it very soon. It must include Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station, Low, and Heroes. It will be absolutely amazing.
Brightfury
There'e talks already that it's expected to be released sometime in September this year. It'll be called "Golden Years" and will only include releases between 1974-1976. That's a bit disappointing to me as I can't wait longer for Low, Heroes, and Lodger... Anyhow, the Golden Years will include plenty of material which is always a good thing. For more info, please check the superdeluxeedition.com site.
Golkis
any idea when the next box is set to come out?
fetish
And what about Lodger? They can't break up the trilogy!

the audio is somewhat disappointing. i compared the ziggy in this box to the 2012 ken scott supervised remaster. the new box ziggy sounds flat & lifeless compared to the 2012 version. listened to "soul love" & when the chorus kicks in, the 2012 has a 3D spaciousness to it that the new one doesn't have. even my wife, who isn't a devout listener, could hear the difference immediately. that's the only thing i've had to compare so far. as mentioned by others, the packaging is top notch.
Raniconne
No....are you?
Nuadazius
Wtf? It's the same cut. You high?
Rko
The Ziggy in the boxset is the same cut as the 2012 AAA remaster. Ray Staff confirmed this himself...
Clodebd
Is there any way to distinguish between the sealed regular copy and the sealed pre-order copy with the Pin-Ups Radio Show?
Whitehammer
the pin ups 10 inch / cd was sent separately and is not in the box set
I love Mercedes
This box set is an absolute pleasure in all ways - presentation, quality and sound. The LP's, their labels and covers have been reproduced to exactly match the originals, including the inserts and even the different types of card used for the sleeves. Can't wait for the next one (1974 - 1979).
DrayLOVE
Really truly agree! Such a faithful restoration with original inner sleeves and inserts, original covers etc etc. This was made for the fanatics!

What do these LPs sound like? It's a lot to shell out.
olgasmile
I just got this Box set today from amazon for $212 (vinyl) !Thanks for the info, megatrends, re: the sound quality.
Diredefender
It hasnt been confirmed all analogue, the only cut which is confirmed as AAA is Ziggy. They are refusing to comfirming provenence for the box, which would surely mean they are cut from a very good digital master. They do sound mostly very good though!
Monin
Some of the photos used here for this Discogs page are from my collection.
Dellevar
They're some of the best pressings ever made. I have a 6,000 LP collection just to throw it out there so as to have credibility when saying that. I am a collector since the 70s. These are all analogue throughout and the vinyl is a pristine quiet quality product. The entire box set is quality.
Maldarbaq
Who did the remastering process for these new album masters?
Darkshaper
I don't know but it is absolutely perfect.
Delalbine
f'ing amazing box
